Debi was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is an Air Force veteran with over 2 decades of experience in photography, as well as accomplishing both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Art within the sculpture/3D discipline. Art is her passion as she is also a professor teaching both Art History and Studio Art courses. She has lived in California where she got her start in gaining an education, exhibiting and teaching. She currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska.
